Dermal Fillers (RHAs)

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in our own faces that supports the skin. It can be used to lift depressions in the skin such as acne, fine lines and wrinkles, softening folds in the skin and lines around the mouth. An injection procedure uses hyaluronic acid to fill out and rejuvenate these problem areas, giving your face a fuller, younger appearance.

We offer a range of safe hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to contour and redefine the face, lips, neck and cleavage.  There are many hyaluronic acid fillers on the market but we only use those with CE approval, including the respected and popular brands Juvederm, Restylane, Emerval, and Teosyl.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

  • The lines between your nose and mouth (nasolabial folds)

  • Fine eye lines
  • Lip lines
  • Frown lines
  • The shape of your lips

The Dermal Fillers We Use

These treatments are popular with men and women aged from 18 to 75, who have decided against surgery but are looking for a refreshed, rejuvenated and subtle look.  Younger women often choose to have lip filler treatment, which gives a sensual, ‘cupid’s bow’ lip outline.

Juvederm Vycross is a new category of filler containing hyaluronic acid. It also contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, which makes the whole injection process much more comfortable. The results can last up to a year and it’s one of our most popular facial fillers.

Teosyal, well known for preventing and instantly correcting wrinkles and hollows, is a highly effective facial filler. It has an immediate lifting and volume-producing effect that redefines the face’s curves and contours. Teosyal guarantees the purity of its gels, taking purity far beyond the standards required by the law.

Restylane Emerval is a proven filler that’s been giving great, safe, long lasting effects to women and men for a decade. When injected into the skin, Restylane gives your own hyaluronic acid a helping hand, instantly boosting the skin’s hydration system to restore volume, lift the skin, and soften the appearance of lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Can I Expect from Dermal Fillers?
Regardless of the filler we use, treatment generally takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the area we’re treating. We make tiny injections under the skin to lift the line, wrinkle or facial contour to the level you want, and the results are immediate. Most people need one to three treatments, depending on how much correction there are usually needed, depending on the amount of correction needed. For lip enhancement, we inject the filler in tiny quantities along the lip line and lip border to create the desired shape. Sometimes we’ll recommend separate visits to let the swelling settle between treatments, and you can decide with your practitioner how much more filler you need to give you the shape you want.
How Long Do the Effects Last?
The effects last anything from six months to a year, after which you can have another treatment to top up the effect.
How Will I Feel?
When you’ve spent months or even years feeling less than good about yourself, maybe even self-conscious about the way your skin looks, this treatment delivers instant satisfaction. You’ll leave the clinic feeling marvellous, with tighter, smoother skin and much less obvious lines and wrinkles, and as far as your self-esteem goes, it’s gold dust.
