Carboxytherapy

The science bit

What is Carboxytherapy?

Carboxytherapy is used to treat cellulite, dark under-eye circles, and stretch marks. The technique uses injections of Carbon Dioxide gas under the skin. The treatment tends to kill off fat tissue fat cells, stimulating your blood flow, improving your skin’s elasticity, and reducing the appearance of cellulite, dark eye circles and stretch marks.

You will need anything from 3-9 treatments, depending on what we are treating. It varies, and we will advise you about how many treatments you need as your treatment progresses.

For cellulite, Mesotherapy and Radio Frequency are good alternatives. For stretch marks we might recommend a combination of Carboxytherapy and Dermapen. We often find that the Tear Trough Technique for dark circles is actually more suitable than Carboxytherapy.
