Our Aesthetic and Cosmetic Practitioners
In order to retain their level of expertise and to keep up with the ever-changing and new developments in the cosmetic treatment industry, our practitioners attend advanced training courses to update their skills and knowledge as new information becomes available. This way, you can be assured of receiving the highest quality of care. In addition, our medical cosmetic practitioners are highly trained in the many injectable treatments that are CE approved in this country, and our laser practitioners are trained not only in the safety and and administration of laser hair removal, but also in skin rejuvenation treatments such as Genuine Dermaroller™, peels, fillers, acne scar treatment and facial red vein removal.
Jackie Knight - Clinic Consultant
Jackie is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years' experience in the cosmetic surgery industry, including in plastic surgery procedures and non-surgical treatments, working with some of the best clinics and hospitals in the country. She only works with top consultants, each of whom specialises in specific areas of face or body enhancement. Jackie is adept at putting people at their ease, and she is also extremely knowledgeable about surgical and non-surgical cosmetic surgery procedures. Enrique de No-Louis y Persson (GMC 7367401)
Mr Persson completed his training as a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in Spain in 1997. He then trained in microsurgery, burns and aesthetic surgery, including in the USA. He has performed over 5000 surgeries, has had over 40 articles published and has won many awards. He is a Specialist Registrar with the General Medical Council (GMC) and IPRAS (International Confederation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). In addition to cosmetic surgery, he undertakes plastic surgery such as breast reconstruction, scar revision and skin cancer. His cosmetic surgery work includes abdominoplasty; blepharoplasty; breast reduction, augmentation, mastopexy, capsulectomy and other breast problems; facelifts; otoplasty; and rhinoplasty. Mario Caruana MD, M.Sc FRCSEd(Gen Surg) EBSQ(Vasc) (GMC 5194168)
Mr Caruana is an accomplished local consultant in vascular disorders, minimally invasive vein treatment and arterial surgery. Many procedures, in which he specialises can be offered under local anaesthetic with minimal "down-time". He undertakes for A New You a popular European treatment called foam sclerotherapy on veins which would previously have been treated by surgery. He also offers newer varicose vein treatments such as EVLT and Venus closure to those, for whom less invasive procedures are not suitable. Maurino Joffily (GMC 6146420)
Mr Joffily is a graduate of the State University of Campinas, one of the top medical schools in Brazil and one of the most renowned plastic surgery centres in the world. He completed his training in plastic surgery after an internship in general surgery. He also graduated in biochemistry. He has performed over 3,000 cosmetic surgeries including abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast reduction for men and women, ear surgery, eyelid surgery, facelift, liposuction, rhinoplasty, and non-surgical procedures for the face including fat injections, fillers, line treatment and lip augmentation. Kerry joined A New You in 2011 to build the clinic's team of receptionists and administrators. She has over ten years of experience in clinic management. She and her team's responsibilities start with welcoming our clients and supporting them as well as the surgeons and practitioners, to ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
