Calf Implants

Who is the procedure suitable for?

Calf implants are particularly suitable for women with very thin calves which don't respond to exercise.

What can I expect?

The implant is inserted behind the knee in the natural crease.  This operation is performed under general anaesthetic and takes about an hour.  An overnight hospital stay is usually required.

Success Rate

The procedure has a good success rate but you need to bear in mind that this procedure will not totally transform the shape of the calves so your expectations of what it is possible to achieve need to be realistic.
