Cosmetic surgery for moles – Here's the facts
The first thing to say about moles is if it's a new one, or an old mole that's started to change in any way, see your GP straight away. Malignant Melanoma is one of the fastest growing cancers in the UK and it's vital to catch it early. If you have a mole that has grown, become hairier, spread, become lumpy or has changed colour, don't delay.
Most moles, however, are merely candidates for cosmetic surgery. If you don't like yours and feel self conscious about it, it's usually perfectly possible to have it removed. And it really isn't a big deal. [more...]

The sunny weather has warmed our hearts here at A New You so much we’ve decided to spend the rest of the year, when we’re not working hard enhancing your natural beauty, raising funds for three really worthwhile charities:
The Sussex Beacon is a clinical care centre for men and women with HIV/AIDS related illnesses, based in Brighton.
RISE is a charity which supports women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse in Brighton & Hove and across West Sussex.
And Changing Faces is a UK-based charity giving support and information to people with disfigurements to the face, hands or body, and their families. [more...]

Walk in for a friendly chat about cosmetic procedures
The internet is a brilliant way to research cosmetic treatments. We get loads of online enquiries. But many of us much prefer talking to a real, live person.
We’ve noticed a dramatic increase in foot traffic since moving to our new premises on Trafalgar Street, right in the heart of Brighton. As we suspected people like to pop in while they’re in town. They feel comfy here. They get a warm welcome. We’re always happy to offer a free coffee and a ten minute chat.
It’s the first real step many people take towards treating themselves to cosmetic surgery or a non surgical treatment. Chatting things through with an expert helps people put their circumstances in perspective. It gives them information about their surgical and non surgical choices. [more...]

Cosmetic surgery – Fall in love with yourself
Too many of us have lost our self confidence because of our looks, or an aspect of them. Some of us don’t mind getting older, wearing our grey hairs and wrinkles with pride. For others ageing is a big issue and the visible signs of it hit their confidence… hard.
Cosmetic surgery and non surgical procedures can help give self confidence a huge boost. Jackie at A New You sees it all the time. “So many people come in for the first time looking downtrodden, low and lacklustre, with an obvious case of the blues” she explains. “After their treatment there’s a new spring in their step. They hold their heads higher.” [more...]

Brow lift surgery taken to the next stage for 'miracle cure'
Brow lift surgery has long been proven to give you a clearer, smoother brow, free of frown lines. But did you know it can also cure migraines?
A Sussex plastic reconstructive surgeon has noticed that brow lifts not only deliver a more youthful look. Removing the 'frown muscle' from just above each eyelid apparently has a strong positive effect on migraine sufferers, curing their illness and freeing them from crippling headaches. It can even reduce the associated shoulder pain caused by tense brow muscles. [more...]

We hear a heatwave’s on the way. Difficult to believe while it’s pouring outside but that’s what the weather person said on the TV this morning...
So that means getting those lovely bodies out and not hiding under maxi dresses or baggy shirts, no matter how comfy and tempting it might be.
Over 9 out of 10 women here in the UK have cellulite, even celebs, and it’s worse on our hips, tums, bums and legs.
If you’re the slightest bit self-conscious about bingo wings, love handles or over-shapely legs and want to do something positive about reducing cellulite so you can stroll along the beach with more confidence, the answer could be Mesotherapy.
Of course, it’s no substitute for a healthy diet, lifestyle and plenty of water and exercise, but it might be a kick-start in the right direction.
So if you dream about running along a sun-drenched sandy beach into the arms of Mr or Ms Right without drawing too much attention to the wobbly bits, find out about Mesotherapy.
And just to make your transformation even more complete, watch out for the CO2 pen which will treat red or white stretch marks caused by pregnancy or just too many doughnuts! Veinwave treatment and sclerotherapy can take care of red veins on your
face and spider veins on your legs too.
Just check out the different sections on this site for more info – and feel more confident with each treatment.
